Proposed “Ethics and Integrity Commissioner”
This government’s decision not to send the proposed Integrity Commissioner Bill to the Legislative Scrutiny Committee is deeply troubling.
If passed, this Bill will fundamentally reshape our entire integrity system. It appears to consolidate four separate statutory offices - the Health Complaints Commissioner, the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption, the Information Commissioner, and the Ombudsman, into a single person.

When the government proposes changes that go to the heart of transparency, and accountability and trust, Territorians must have a say.
These are changes that will affect you, and the CLP Government needs to know what you think about them.
We will compile all submissions into a report and provide it to the Minister for ICAC and all MLAs prior to the bill being debated.
