One of my jobs is to work with the rest of Parliament (the government, the opposition and the cross bench) to make laws for the NT. When I was elected in August 2024, I hardly knew anything about how parliament works, and it has been a rapid learning curve! I have had questions from many people about how our Parliament here in the Northern Territory works, so these are some of the things I wish I knew when I started!
