Gurambai – Rapid Creek Connects Our Community

We are a diverse and vibrant community, home to schools, shops, sporting clubs and small businesses that support everyday local life. At the heart of the electorate is Gurambai (Rapid Creek), running through the Jingili Watergardens, which a place of deep cultural significance for Larrakia people and a much-loved natural space for walking, cycling, birdwatching and connecting with nature.

The creek and surrounding green spaces are central to the community’s identity, offering a rare stretch of healthy mangroves, freshwater, and urban bushland so close to the city.
