Be a part of our Home Grown Project and join us at our first screen printing workshop!
You may have been inolved in or heard about our community cookbook project and drawing workshops at the Rapid Creek Markets this year. Well - the creativity that has emerged from the Tropical Still Life workshops with our friend and collaborator Tisha Tejaya has been extraordinary, and the project has now evolved into our Home Grown initiative.

We are very excited to move into the next stage of this project: bringing some of your artworks to life on t-shirts, tea towels and tote bags. These items will be sold at my mobile office at the markets in December, with all proceeds going to the Johnston Community Benefit Fund, supporting local fundraising initiatives within the electorate.
Bring a shirt or textile item of your choice and print one of the new Home Grown designs featuring illustrations from this year’s workshops. You’re also welcome to stay on and help us print items for sale later in the year.
This is an all-ages, family friendly event by the Office of Justine Davis MLA, Independent Member for Johnston, taking place on the unceded lands of the Larrakia people.
